THE 'I DON'T LIKE BEING ME' SONG From THE MAGIC LOCKER

Posted by Billy Roberts on July 5, 2007 2:13 PM |

I don't like being me, I'd rather be you;
Or somebody else faraway.

If I were you, I wouldn't be me,
Nobody wants to be me anyway!

If I were tomorrow, I wouldn't be today,
I'd be somewhere between then and now;
If I were faraway, I wouldn't be here,
And I'd have to find my way back somehow.

It's a crazy world I live in, like the words in this song,
I'm not too short, but then again, I'm not too long;
If I were you, I wouldn't know what to do,
And me being me is just like you being you;

I don't like being me, but as far as I can see,
I'm much better off being who I am,
Because being you, is not being me,
And the very best I can do, is being who I am,
And that's being me.
